Sonny Hansen updated a blog entry How to get succes wi...

Newbies, affiliates, marketeers, worldaffiliates, businessowners, stay at home moms, students, or who ever you are.

Hi my name is Sonny Hansen. I figure that a lot of you are struggling in the marketingbusiness, so i wanted to share my experiences, and tell you a little about my strategi. This is not a book of internet marketing or another "do like the guru's" e-book, this is an invite for some people, and for others a good advice on their way in to a very closed world. I will be honest and say that not even i reveal the greatest secrets i have discovered, only to my trusted team, and that is off course because it benefits all of us.

Are you looking to create your own onlinebusiness? Then pay extra attention for the next 5 min. The best time to start an onlinebusiness is when you have the capacity, dont wait untill your financial situation is a mess, that will only create more desperation and difficulties for you and your project. To start a business can be quite difficult if you dont have any knowledge about the concepts or programs that you choose. You will loose a lot of money, you will be fooled, you will be getting to a point where you simply just cant take any more defeats, and throw in the towel. I've done it twice, before i finally succéded, and sometimes today, i still wonder how i could not see through it from the beginning. This is not an easy business, but its logical when you finaly see the big picture.

When you get familiar with internet marketing, it becomes easier to accomplish succés, and it will give you great satisfaction to recieve money from your first sale. I still remember the first 37 $ payed to my paypal.com account, i was flying around, i called all the people that doubted my idea, shouting: " What did i say?" "I did it" "HA", but then nothing happened for a week or so, that was a terrible week, but then another 37$ came and i started to really believe in it, (that was when i tried out one of the marketings-businesses in 2004, where you sell programs to other marketeers, so that they could achieve better sales, it worked for me for a while, but then it died out, i did get payed though). I was so lucky to find a system that worked and still works, but with all sorts of products, totally different kind of internet marketing line. Actually, when i quit trying "to do what the big internet gurus are doing", then i succeded, then i became succesfull, it took me 3 years, and too much money, a lot of time, almost a marriage, but it happened, and i got the money back, more than ten-folds, and still coming.

And now its just normal to recieve different amounts every week, depending on how much time i spend the past month , and then i earn the residual money from the years of work i've done.  And from my carpenter/roofing-business in Denmark (tektag.dk, please take a look if you wish, always nice with the rating). It feel's great to view your own succes. Just dont let it get to your head ;-)

"I must admit that I still get excited, when i occasionaly recieve unusual high amounts into my netaccount's."

If you want to be able to succéd from the beginning, you really have to pay attention at all times, be in control of your situation and don't give up when it becomes difficult...

Dont think that you wont pay for dead ends, like the rest of us did. Some of the business concepts out there are well thought out. I highly recommend that you stay away from anything that sounds to good to be true, and don't pay for stuff you don't know anything about, google their website and name, look for blogs or other info about it. To many scammers out there, it is always good to be sceptical.

Don't pay attention to all the offers you get about joining this and that for free, it will just move your focus from what you are doing

Lets begin.

Evaluate your skills.

Are you splendid on the phone, do you have great writing-skills, Do you have a hobby? What do you work with daily and know a lot about, is there something you miss in your daily procedures that you know many are missing, and couldnt live without if they had your product. Things like that can often kickstart a good business, sticking to what you know. Think of your talents as the things you're really good at. You may be a very creative person, or a ressourcefull person, in businesscontacts, or knowledgebased or even the ability to see ahead, what will be focused on in the future, or futurefashion. That is valuable thoughts to give your onlinebusiness, before choosing any path. If you get in to that kind of brainstorming, you could allready be a step further, and have an advance. Your talents and skills are the best base for any successful business venture.

Research

The next thing is to start researching your chosen business-line, find the best incomeopportunitys, the best affiliate-/refferalbonus terms, the companys with the best residualopportunitys, and then choose from that list wich websites cover your needs the best. See if there is a way to combine several offers into one website, so that you can attract sales from multiple individuals

Then set up 2-3 mail-accounts, 1 for mail, 1 for businesscontacts, 1 for signups, maybe one for your responder messages, etc.  So that you can keep track of the different mails and content you send out.

You can also buy your way into a system that contains everything you need to construct and run your onlinebusiness 12SC

When you have determined wich product you wish to promote, set up the facilitys for it through either a website or blog, create the banners you need to promote, write texture or find great premade ones by surfing related articles or trafficexchanges and safelists toolboxes often have great premade email layouts that can be moderated in to your favor, it is not that difficult to edit the html on a userlevel, it can be learned in few hours of study.

Sonny Hansen created a blog entry Free SEO tricks.....

In this post we will cover a little about Seo-Work (Search Engine Optimization.) It is a difficult subject, that takes a lot of time to master perfectly, but you will improve your skills in time, if you are determined to achieve better results. Don't settle with being on page 17 in Google, nobody will find you!

Promoting a site through organic rankings is one of the primary forms of search engine marketing. Organic rankings is another name for free rankings or search engine listings. All of the major search engines rank sites based on complex mathematical algorithms that weigh the characteristics of not only the web site and its pages, but also by the quantity, quality, and structure of its inbound and outbound links. How well a site conforms to the algorithm will determine its position in the organic rankings.

It is important to note that each search engine has it's own algorithm and that the formulas for Organic ranking change periodically. Consequently, a site’s rankings will often move around from period to period and vary from search engine to search engine. Part of our job at SK Technologies is to follow these changes and help our clients determine if and when changes need to be made. The other part is to help you prioritize your efforts in regards to the following factors.

Important On Page Factors

On page factors deal with aspects related directly to your web site, its construction, and content.

* On Page Site Optimization — Making a site structurally friendly, "spiderable" and consistent with the search engine ranking algorithms.
* Site Content Enhancement — Creating actual web pages to address areas where there is a lack of content.

Off Page Factors

Off page factors deal with how your site is linked throughout the Internet.

* Link Popularity Enhancement — Generating incoming links to your site in order to increase the popularity of your site is ver important and create you also with a bigger possibility to recieve the Google Pagerank . It can be done in many ways, but most common would be through other websites you own, do-follow forums, do-follow blogs and so on!

* Search Engine Submission — Utilizing pay for inclusion programs and hand submission where necessary to ensure that your site gets "crawled" by bots from the major search engines. Never let anybody do it for you, and never use autosubmitting. It won't pay off!!

* Directory Submission — Listing your site in the major directories like Yahoo and the Open Directory, as well as industry specific or regional directories, is very important if you wish to see your rating go up and Free visitors to your site, but don't submit your website until you are complete with the site. Follow this link for more Directory Submission.

Sonny Hansen created a blog entry Make More Money Onli...

Are you finally ready to make more money online while eliminating a large chunk of the struggle, frustration and failure most people experience?
“You Could Take Everything Away From Me But THIS And I’d Have A Multi-Million Dollar Online Business Again Within A Year!”
My money (and all my assets), current contacts, my business structure, my customer list, none of that counts as much as this one “key” factor...
And what’s more... I want to show YOU how to get THIS for yourself... and... thrive in your online business and life like never before...
Best part: You can have this advantage for yourself starting in just 30 minutes. Please read on for full details.
Did you know there’s one thing (or one factor) that trumps all others when it comes to success in business ...and... in life?
It’s true.
And it’s not what you’re probably thinking. Well, maybe you’ve got a hint of it. In any case, it’s this...
Knowledge
That is, what you know. However, before you say “I knew that” and run away...
WAIT!
I’m not talking about regular knowledge... or even highly-specialized knowledge like, for example, the kind of knowledge I teach in my Business Acceleration Program. Not at all. I’m talking about...
Knowledge of Yourself!
And more specifically... knowledge of what your strengths and weaknesses are.
You see, my secret weapon in business is not what most people think. It’s not my money. It’s not my contacts. It’s not my business structure. It’s not my customer list. Or anything else you might think gives me a “leg-up” on my competitors. Sure, those things are important. But they’re not nearly as important as my knowledge of my strengths and weaknesses.
Let me explain:
I’ve been able to be consistently successful in business because, long ago, I learned my strengths and how to leverage them. Likewise, I also learned my weaknesses and how to manage them.

3 Steps you need to take to set up your affiliate marketing business

For anyone starting out for the first time online, the question is where do I start and what are the key steps I need to take to succeed? Well there is no magic formula, but you will need time, determination and some investment dollars to get started. This is a real business that requires an attitude that you run it like a real business. Once you’ve made the decision to research and launch your product/service to your target market, what are some key steps you must make to move forward?
Set Up a Web Site Properly
Whether you design one yourself, get someone to design one for you or use a template provided by your host or blog provider, you need a place to do business. That place will be your Web site and domain you have registered and paid for.
To register a domain name you will need to go to a service that does just that. Names that come to mind are NameCheap, and GoDaddy but there are many more. Once you have a domain name, you need a place to put it and that’s when you go to a hosting site. Names here are Hostgator, Bluehost, again these are only two, but there are many more. Just make sure that you avoid the free sites. They are not as reliable as those that are fee based.
With your domain registered and hosting set, you will need to put up web pages for your product/service offering. One key tactic is to make sure that you use separate and unique web pages to sell and promote each product or service you are offering. That means registering a separate domain name for each item you are selling with a dedicated sales page outlining the details of benefits and solutions to problems for your customers. The reason for this is that you want your potential customer to focus on one thing only, your offering and the decision to buy.
You should always include product reviews and information that will let your customers get a good understanding of how the purchase will solve their problem. Testimonials of satisfied customers go a long way towards demonstrating to your prospects the benefits they will reap when they decide to buy. All of these items, product descriptions, product review and testimonials can be combined on your sales page, followed by a clear call to action.
On a separate page, you can offer articles that you have written that highlight the benefits and uses that your customers have received as a result of their purchase.
Make sure your copyrighting makes effective use of headlines that attract and entice the readers to want to
learn more and continue with the final purchase decision.
Attract Customers: Offer Bonuses and Freebies
Offer bonuses and free reports to your potential customers. Carefully position the offerings where they cannot be missed, usually at the top of the page. You will need to follow up each offer with a well crafted email message from you. You will have received your potential customer’s name and email message from a sign-in form on your Web page. This entire system will be automated on an autoresponder service you have joined as part of your business set up process. Aweber and Getresponse are two that come to mind.
Common wisdom is that you need to contact a lead at least seven times before a buy decision is made. Your messages will be designed to address the need or problem that drove them to your Web page to begin with, so you should make sure the content of the message stays focused on your customer’s need.
Keep the “selling” out of the messages and concentrate on the benefits and satisfying outcome. Make your subject lines reflect how things will get better if they decide to buy. Avoid the use of the word “free,” many spam filters look for that word and push any content with it into the spam trash. Your goal is to make your potential customer anxious to get your product with a sense of urgency.

Quality not Quantity: Qualified Traffic

There is traffic and then there is qualified traffic. You want people who are targeted to really want your product or service because they see you as the solution to their problem. One way to attract targeted traffic is to write articles for publication in ezines or e-reports. You can publish in publications that focus on your target customers and who are more apt to respond to your offerings.
Get on a schedule and write at least 2 articles per week. They should be 300-600 words in length and be easy to read; no jargon or tech talk. If you can attract 100 targeted customers a day as a start, you will begin to build momentum. Over time with the cumulative effect of your articles, you will build to 1000 targeted hits a day. According to accepted practice, if 10% of those leads buy your offering, you will have 10 sales per day. That is a very good result and one that will lead to greater momentum moving forward.
Conclusion
What is outlined here are 3 practical steps that will get your business up and running. What it takes on your part is time, effort and some investment of your hard earned cash. Once you have achieved results for one product line, it simply takes repetition to try it out again with another one. At that point you are off and running.
Try these tips and your chances of success are very good indeed. May your travels be prosperous.Online Succes in 3 easy steps.

Sonny Hansen updated a blog entry Different advertisin...

There are basically three different ways in which advertisers reimburse publishers for displaying their ads. These are known as CPM, CPC, and CPA.
CPM means Cost Per Thousand Impressions (M being the Roman numeral for thousand). An impression means your ad is being seen by a a visitor to your site. Therefore if you're being paid on a CPM basis the more people that see the advertisements the more you earn. CPM advertising is generally a good choice for websites that receive a high volume of traffic in a general niche where it is difficult to cater your advertisements to one set of targeted demographics.
Because CPM offers a good metric for comparison you'll also see eCPM, which means equivalent CPM. So if you're displaying ads on a CPA or CPC basis you can quickly and easily see how much your making per 1000 impressions.
CPC means Cost Per Click. This is where advertisers display ads on your site, often through a medium such as Google Adsense, and you get paid every time a visitor clicks on an ad. This is a great way to put up advertisements that are relevant to the content of your websites. Many webmasters have found success by driving targeted traffic to their websites monetized with CPC advertising.
When displaying CPC ads an important metric is your CTR, or Click Through Rate, meaning the percentage of visitors that click on the ads. Obviously the higher this number is, the higher your earnings.
CPA means Cost Per Action. An action can mean different things depending on the offer being advertised, with the action usually coming in the form of a lead or a sale. Affiliate Marketing is considered CPA, and while it is difficult to master the profit potential for professional affiliate marketers is virtually unlimited. CPA advertising generally works the best when you have highly targeted traffic searching for the products that you are advertising.
The payment model that will suit you best depends on your visitors, the type of site you have, the main sources of your traffic, and other factors .
Don't limit yourself to one type of ad. You're perfectly entitled to display ads from different networks at the same time. You could display CPM ads right next to CPA affiliate links. The CPM ads will ensure you always make some money, as long as your site is getting some traffic, while the CPA ads will make you much more money if and when, your users take the required "action".
While it may seem like more hard work up front, testing out different advertising methods to find out what works best for your website is well worth the effort once you find the most profitable method for your specific site.

Sonny Hansen updated a blog entry Search engine optimi...

Search engine optimization can be a complex beast to tame. Let me say that it does not have to be. With a little basic information seo can be painless. Webmasters know that it is all about having accurate info. Of course that is true for just about everything. Time is your real foe here. Grabbing the top spot on the search engine results pages is not an easy task but with a little effort, correct information, and time to implement you can do it.
There are several factors to consider when trying to raise your site to the top. Obviously we will not be covering all of them here as that would be impractical, however I think we have time to cover 3 factors that should be considered critical to your success. The best way to go about this is to take baby steps. Work on one aspect at a time and perform the necessary actions to complete that step for your entire site. Once your done with that step then move on to the next and so on. So lets get started...
Keywords...This is critical! If you have the wrong keywords in the text of your site then it will not show up where you want it to. Search engines work off of keywords and keyword phrases so your site needs to be optimized for the keywords you want your site to show up for. Proper seo will fix this. Good keyword research always starts with great keyword tools. I personally
suggest the free keywordprogram google deliver KeywordToolExternal or if you want a pro edition I defenitely recommend the PPC Bully program
Meta Tags...Everybody says meta tags are a waste of time. I can prove them wrong. My site shows up in Googles search results for several of my articles and they ALL include the description I have in my meta tag. That is enough for me to believe that meta tags are still very much alive and kicking. The trick is this, 'USE IT, DO NOT ABUSE IT'. Pay extra attention to your keywords meta tag and keep it short and simple. I use 10 or less per page and highly suggest that you do to.
Java/CSS...These are great for adding functionality and style to your site but they can hinder your sites ability to be indexed in a fast and friendly way. When search engine spiders crawl your site they are looking for the text that you have so they know what your site is about. Javascripts and CSS can push your sites text way down on the page in your source code. Since the spiders only take small bites at a time they may not get to the actual text on your pages until they have visited your site several times. Externalizing these files and calling them up as needed will eliminate this issue.
There are a few items that are critical to search engine optimization and I hope the information helps you get your site search engine friendly and on top of the serps. Remember to take it one step at a time and before you know whats happening you will be swamped with search engine traffic.
